Spittin In Da Wip
Back in 2010 we had an emcee named The Astronomical Kid on Spittin In Da Wip! At the time he was known for his popular song “Stop Looking At My Moms”. We were so impressed with Astro’s knowledge of HipHop and how he carried himself during the interview. And when the beat came on, the young emcee killed it! It was definitely one of our all time best episodes.
After the show Astro went on to be a big hit on the popular show The X-Factor(2011). He made it all the way to finish in 7th place which is really great for an emcee in a show setting like the X-Factor. After his appearance on The X Factor, he starred in an episode of Person of Interest then in 2014, he co-starred in the major films “Earth to Echo” and “A Walk Among the Tombstones”. He was also a cast member of the Fox series Red Band Society.
We’re hoping to get Astro back on Spittin In Da Wip this year. Stay tuned.
